Tell us how you met
We met back at high school and have been together ever since.
Steve surprised me with a holiday to Fiji, I had absolutely no idea until we were at the airport.
When we arrived at one of the islands where we were staying we went for a walk to its look out and then Steve got down on one knee and said Amanda Hebson will you marry me?
I just screamed with excitement! After this Steve went snorkeling and I stared at my ring for the rest of the day.
Ceremony- Saint Mary’s Anglican Church, Kangaroo Point. Mark and Debbie, Amanda’s parents were married there 37 years ago and I had always wanted to marry Steve there.
Reception- Room Three Sixty QUT Gardens Point. Gown: a Pronovias dress from White Lilly Couture at Milton.
Shoes: Zu Shoes Bridal Collection. Decorations: Bec from Live, Love, Laugh Events.
Hair: Debbie from Canary Hair and Beauty.
Bridal Party Attire: Nancy from Nancy Khau Boutique created the bridesmaids and flower girl dresses. The boys suits were from Tony Barlow, a special thanks to Georgia for all of her help!
Make up: my beautiful sister in law Marissa, from Make Up by Carla and Marissa.
Flowers: Kate from Kate Dawes Flower Design. Stationary: Bec from Urban Weddings.
Cakes: Simone from Cakes by Simone. entertainment: Redsell Brothers, Jaymes and Dave.
transport: Kenz Classic Cars, Ken and his wife Robyn.
Honeymoon: relaxing by the beach in Mexico, Steve is still snorkelling and I am still staring at my rings. We are then off to explore America.
Funniest moment: Listening to the speeches, especially Steve’s Roasting.
Favourite wedding day moment: Marrying one another and becoming husband and wife.

A big thank you to Debbie, Amanda’s mum for all of her help and guidance. A girl needs her mum when organising a wedding and getting married!
A very special thank you to all of our closest family and friends who celebrated our wedding with us, they made the day perfect and it wouldn’t of been our wedding without them.
What did you value most about using Ben Clark Photography ?
Ben’s professionalism coupled with his sense of humour relaxed us both and was exactly what we needed!
We knew when we first met Ben he was the perfect wedding photographer for us, as Steve says he’s a good bloke.
We are extremely thankful to Ben for capturing our wedding as it was, our photos are priceless.
Especially, the split second moments that occurred and if it weren’t for Ben they would of been lost forever.
