I wish I could blog every wedding that we shoot as they’ve all been amazing but it’s just impossible with the time required on each post, so I’m restricted to one wedding per week !

Today the spotlight is on Anji & Ben’s beautiful Brisbane Wedding !

Tell us how you met

We Met through mutual friends that we had individually known for years but always seemed to miss meeting each other

The proposal

Ben took me to St Johns cathedral and we danced on the steps as we had done on our first date and then he got down on his knee and proposed

The all important Details

Ceremony location: St. John’s – Reception location: Mirra – Gown: allure bridal – Wedding bands and engagement rings: Stones

Rev: Pam Hynd  – Wedding Coordinator: Me – Hair: Brooke Newton – Veil: Greek crown veil

Bridal party attire: Light in the box – Make-up: MAC – Flowers: Brisbane Flowers – Stationery: Cracker Print and paper

Cake: Jenny Vievers – Entertainment: Radio Club Band

Transport: My fathers 1967 Rambler American for the bridal car and a friends other 2 Ramblers

Honeymoon:

Paris (sitting down at the Champs Èlysèe as I am typing this) then off to Italy to see Rome, Venice, Florence and Milan

Funniest Moment:

Running back and forth into the intersection of Adelaide and George to get photos

Favourite Wedding Day moment:

Seeing Bens face and the tears in his eyes when I got to the alter and seeing my fathers reaction when I walked out in my dress

What did you value most about using Ben Clark Photography ?

Ben and Lisa were incredible, we loved having fun with them while they were shooting and because of this everyone was so relaxed, my family even said after how they could tell Ben and I as well as the rest of the bridal party were at ease with Ben and Lisa.

They were always there but you never felt like you were under a spotlight and they were always very professional. Whenever we had a photo idea or wanted to do something they were always up for it and we really felt like they did everything to make us very happy!

Advice for other brides-to-be:

Put yourself first and make sure you get your hair and makeup done first! And just take a moment to absorb and enjoy every moment, things may not go accordingly to plan but cest la vie
