Helen & Craigs Vintage Country Wedding – 23rd March

Welcome to our Real Life Weddings page !

This is where the spotlight shines on the amazing weddings that we photograph

Today the spotlight is on Helen & Craig’s beautiful Queensland Country Wedding

Theme: Vintage Country

Tell us how you met-   A long time ago on the beach volley courts at Samford.   We liked what we saw!

The proposal

Craig and I had taken a couple of weeks off to spend at my family’s property outside of Brisbane.  We had driven up separately as I had finished work later.

When I arrived at the farm, Craig had his best checkered shirt on and was waiting patiently in the middle of the paddock.  He then insisted I go for a drive with him as he had organised a picnic on top of the hill.  We drove through the paddocks and up the hill and on top, overlooking the property and the ranges beyond was a beautiful picnic setting made out of cushions and hay bales with a little box with a white ribbon!

Funniest Moment

Had to be Terry falling asleep during the ceremony closely followed by the speeches and the random dance moves going on!!!

Favourite Wedding Day moment

Had to be it all, but the little country church and all our nearest and dearest crammed in was beautiful!

Special thanks to

All our family and friends who helped make the day possible.  Couldn’t have achieved what we did without them.

In your experience what did you value most about using Ben Clark Photography ?

Our Brother & Sister in Law told us that Ben was a dude and a dude he was.

Ben was the easiest person to work with and made the day as easy as ever.  Thanks Ben for being a dude and 4WD the bridal party around the property!!

Advice for other brides-to-be

Ahhhh just go with the flow.

Thanks Helen & Craig for asking me to share in your special day, it was just beautiful !

The highlight for me was the last rays of light up on the hill with the church pew where Craig had proposed !
