Today the spotlight is on Lance and Mel’s beautiful Moda Portside Wedding
How we met
Lance and I use to work together. We had fun sneaking around for a while before we told people (about 6 months!)
The proposal
Lance took me to dinner at a restaurant we frequently visited.
Afterwards, Lance stopped at New Farm Park area, where you could see the Story Bridge, and wanted to get out of the car to check
out the lights. It was raining, so I stubbornly refused to leave the car. After a while ..
I met him outside, he got down on one knee (in the rain) and proposed. It was all very romantic

Gown: Wendy Makin Couture (Wendy merged 2 different designs into the one dress for me.. very talented!)
Wedding bands / Engagement ring: A family friend jeweller in Capalaba – Hair: Eileen from Bold & Beautiful
Veil: Wendy Makin – Make-up: Melissa Coleman – Bridal Party Attire: Girls – Bella Donna Bridesmaids; Boys – Roger David
Flowers: Amy from Jada Flowers (also assisted us with our gorgeous centrepieces)
Stationary: We have a truly amazing friend who did all our invites, ceremony booklets, place cards .. so good and so lucky!

Honeymoon:
We are having 2! South America at the end of the year ..
and Barossa Valley now !
Funniest Moment:
Would have to be the speeches .. we had such fantastic speeches by our MC.. best man, maid of honour, friends ..family ..
HILARIOUS!
Favourite Wedding Day Moment:
I loved our first dance, it was just so perfect with the lighting .. the band .. and of course Lance.
We didn’t rehearse the dance which made it the more special.
I also enjoyed the photos with the bridal party in between the ceremony and reception… my cheeks were sore from laughing so much!

What did we love about Ben Clark?
His total easy going attitude, but complete professionalism. Our guests loved the Goose Booth..!!
When it came to closing, instead of kicking everyone out, Ben continued until all our guests could experience the fun!
Advice to other bride-to-bes:
Understand that things may happen.. or things may go wrong on the wedding day, or in the planning stages..
but that doesn’t mean it won’t be a perfect and memorable day!
