Tell us how you met

I (Dani) invited a friend of mine to my 21^st and because he wouldn’t know anyone I suggested that he bring a friend… that friend was Sam! Sam then did the gentlemanly thing and invited me to his 21^st and the rest is history.

The proposal: After getting permission from my Dad, Sam organised a 4 day holiday away to Noosa, this trip turned out to be his planned ‘moment.’

We took a walk through the National Park, which is something we often do when in Noosa, little did I know that under Sam’s surf hat (which I paid him out for) was a gorgeous engagement ring. When we got to the top (Hell’s Gates), Sam got down on one knee and asked me to marry him… I of course said yes!!

Funniest Moment

During the ceremony, Sam had difficulty getting my ring on and Fr Gillen made the remark “You’re not resisting are you Dani, there is still time.” The whole church stopped and laughed!!!

Favourite Wedding Day moment

For Sam it was seeing Dani walk down the aisle.

For Dani it probably was walking out of the church being able to see everyone and thank them for coming.
