Weddings At Tiffany’s – Maleny – Andrea & Matthew

Welcome to another Real Life Wedding !

Today the spotlight is on Andrea & Mattโ€™s beautiful Maleny Wedding !

Wedding Theme: Vintage Country

Tell us how you met

Matt and I knew each other in high school through Mathews cousin, and although being close friends, we never actually dated.   We lost touch following high school, however a few years later, Matthew decided to make a spontaneous phone call to say hello, and the rest is history!

The proposal

Matt and I had tickets to see Bill Bailey at QPAC that night.  This also happened to be the day that Matt bought my engagement ring.  Matt had planned to wait until out trip to Noosa the following week to propose, however we found ourselves having a great night out at South Bank, and the ring was burning a hole in Matt’s pocket.

The proposal was completely spontaneous and romantic, and just 20 minutes before we went to the show!  I have to say that I don’t really remember much about Bill Bailey that night.  Each time Matt looked at me, I was looking down at my new, gorgeous ring!

We put together some of the details for the day (place cards etc) but Weddings at Tiffanys set up the chapel and reception, and did all the flowers throughout the day.

They did a spectacular job at putting it all together.

Funniest Moment

During Matthew’s grooms speech, he thanked our DJ ‘Scott’, only to find out then and there that his name was in fact ‘Sean’.

Favourite Wedding Day moment

The dance floor was full.  It was touching to hear the crowd sing along to ‘Piano Man’ after a spontaneous request from the Best Man at the end of the night.  It was a great send off for Matt and I.

Special thanks to

‘Scott’ the DJ……  But a further special thanks to Weddings at Tiffanys for hosting a wonderful evening for our closest friends and family.

I also wanted to thank the lovely ladies at Bertossi Brides for making my wedding gown.  The gown was perfect, and I thoroughly enjoyed working with them in the months leading up to the wedding.

We also couldn’t go past sending a shout out to Ben Clark for being both a consummate professional, and simply a great guy to spend the day with.

Thanks Ben!

What did you value most about using Ben Clark Photography

We chose Ben because of his style of photography.  We felt that having a great photographer was really important to us, and Ben certainly met our expectations.

We thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with him.

Advice for other brides-to-be

Just enjoy the day!

Following so much planning and preparation it all goes so quickly, so remember to take it all in!

Matt says – Be loosy goosey

Andy & Matt thank you so much for sharing your day with us !

I had a heap of fun with you guys & I’d have to say that my funniest moment was when the beetle flew down the top of one of your guests dresses

and the ‘hokey pokey’ dance that followed trying to get it out !
