Stradbroke Island Wedding – Elyse & Bob

Welcome to another Real Life Wedding !

Today Elyse & Bob  have been kind enough to share their Wedding day love story with us !

—————————————————

Theme if any: Vintage/Beach

Tell us how you met

We went to high school together.

The proposal

We regularly go to Nobby’s Beach on the Gold Coast for a swim and lunch. We often walk to the Mick Schamburg Park, which is between Miami and Burleigh, and sit up the top and enjoy the view.

On this particular day we walked to the top but I did not want to walk the few extra metres to the chairs. Bob was very determined and insisted that we needed to walk to the chairs. After much complaining I complied and we sat on the seats and enjoyed the view.

Bob told me he wanted to take a photo of me against the railing with the view in the background so I got up and by the time I turned back around he was down on one knee and asked me to marry him!

Honeymoon

A self-guided, 3 and a half week tour of Italy.

We will start in Rome and visit Sienna, Florence and Venice. We will also spend a few day in Nice, France before flying back to Rome and then home.

Favourite Wedding Day moment

Bob – Seeing Elyse walk down the aisle.

Elyse – Sharing our special day with all of our much loved family and friends.

Special thanks to

Everyone for travelling so far to share in our day.

What did you value most about using Ben Clark Photography ?

Ben is super easy to work with – nothing was a trouble to him. He listened to everything that we said and had plenty of ideas to capture that perfect photo.

We really enjoyed Ben as our photographer as we got on very well and he made all of our guests feel comfortable also. Thank you J

Advice for other brides-to-be

Be organised and prepared! Don’t let the little things stress you out.
