Welcome to another real life wedding !
This week Sally & Jay have shared their beautiful wedding day with us !
Theme: Classic Black and White mixed with New York City
Tell us how you met
We met at work when we bumped into each other in the hallway. The rest is history.
Our proposal was something we will never forget.
Jay surprised me one Friday morning by taking me on a holiday he had planned to Hawaii and then to New York City.
I had no idea where I was going and when we arrived in New York City it was -7 and snowing. Jay took me on a horse and carriage ride through central park and then proposed on the Bow Bridge.
He had arranged for a photographer to be there to take photos of our engagement so we could share our engagement with our family and friends back in Australia. It was the most amazing day!

Our amazing band played ‘The time of my life’ from the Dirty Dancing soundtrack at the end of the night and insisted that Jay and I do ‘the lift’! It was a very funny moment and something we will not forget.
Favourite Wedding Day moment
Jay’s favourite moment was when we were announced as husband and wife and he could kiss his bride.
My favourite moment was walking down the aisle with my Dad, looking at Jay and being able to smile at all my favourite people in the world as I walked towards him.
Special thanks to
Our Families, our amazing bridal party and everyone who helped to make our day so special, Jay and I are overwhelmed by the love and support we have received.
What did you value most about using Ben Clark Photography ?
Ben was AMAZING on our wedding day.
What we loved about Ben is from the moment we met him he was so warm and genuine and that carried throughout every email and meeting and most importantly on our Wedding Day.
His experience is invaluable, Ben took the time to meet everyone at the house, had a laugh and put us completely at ease on the day through his guidance and attention to detail.
We had 100% confidence that Ben would take the most amazing photos and he really has.
Thank you SO much Ben, for keeping us calm, for your creativity and for really valuing the importance of the day and going above and beyond to give us beautiful photos we will cherish forever.
Advice for other brides-to-be
Enjoy every minute of your day, and remind yourself to do so as much as possible!
Jay and I had our own car that took us to the reception which gave us some quiet time to talk and reflect on the Wedding, it goes by quickly so cherish every moment you can.
Sal & Jay thanks for sharing your amazing wedding day, I had so much fun hanging out with you guys !
Hope you’re enjoying your honeymoon in Hawaii !!
