The proposal

Matt and I were away on a four day holiday in Coolum and he completely surprised me with a message in a bottle hidden in the rocks on Coolum Beach on 9th October 2011, (little did I know that he had gone for an early morning run to hide the bottle in the rocks). It was a gorgeous Sunday mid-morning and after a lovely breakfast and stroll along the beach Matt took me to a quiet place on the beach.  He had handwritten the most beautiful love letter which he got me to read out loud before I realised what it was, it was the most touching moment and such an amazing, romantic proposal and a beautiful engagement ring.

Ceremony location: The Laguna, Sirromet Winery, Mount Cotton – Reception location: Barrel Room, Sirromet Winery, Mount Cotton

Gown: Helena Couture Designs, Oxenford – Wedding bands and engagement rings:  Brides engagement ring and wedding ring were specially made by John, the master jeweler  at Hofstays, Brisbane City and Grooms wedding ring from Diamonds International, Brisbane City.

Celebrant: Andrea Pennisi – Wedding Coordinator: Sharyn Stein, Sirromet Winery

Veil by Helena Couture Designs, Oxenford –

Bridal party attire: Bridesmaids dresses were bought from JJ’s House and the flower girls dresses from US Angels ordered online. Groom/Groomsmen’s suits from Spurling Formalwear.

Hair/Make-up:  Ann Lodberg – Flowers:  Jacqui M Design – Stationery: We designed our own invitiations through Paper Connection

Cake: Beautiful and delicious 3 tier, ivory and champagne cake with top tier lemon white mud, middle tier choc orange mud and bottom tier, cherry ripe choc mud by Karen Absolom

Entertainment: John Boyle Entertainment – Transport: Jaguar & BMW provided by friends
