Today the spotlight is on Lucas & Sarah’s beautiful Sirromet Wedding !

Vintage travel, with a focus on NYC

Tell us how you met

We met at work. Lucas walked past my desk to have his first interview and claimed I did a double-take. False!    A few weeks later, Lucas organised “team drinks”, which turned out to be the two of us and the rest, as they say, is history!

The proposal

While on a holiday in Melbourne, Lucas took me to my favourite chocolate cafe, Koko Black, for an indulgent morning tea. He then felt sick for the next few days, which is continued to blame on the chocolate (not so!).

We saw amazing sights along the Great Ocean Road and stopped for the night at Apollo Bay.

After disappearing for a long while, Lucas finally emerged and handed me a box of handmade chocolates he’d secretly ordered from Koko Black. When I opened the box, the words “Will you marry me?” had been piped on the chocolates and he presented me with the most amazing diamond ring I could’ve hoped for!

I said yes !!!

We love Ben and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone! He just made us feel at ease the whole day. It was a great experience.

A huge congrats on such a beautiful day !

Advice for other brides-to-be: Choose a theme early on, as that’s what most of your decisions will centre around. Don’t sweat the small stuff! Enjoy every moment because in the blink of an eye, it’s over.
