Welcome to another Real Life Wedding !!
Today is Suzie & Tom… But first I have a confession to make ….
This past week I wasn’t really working, I was just hanging out with friends who just happened to be getting married ….
Let me explain ..
So… 8 years ago I flew to Rockhampton to photograph Dan & Wendy’s wedding and at this wedding Dan’s brother Tom was best man, it was an amazing day filled with love and laughter and over the years I’ve seen their family grow with two gorgeous girls and another bub on the way !
Fast forward 8 years and the roles have been reversed with Dan as Tom’s best man, but like I said It really was just hanging out with friends, even Tom’s cheeky grandmother had remembered me from 8 years earlier and she was still as cheeky as ever !
So I guess you could say I’ve known the Peacock family for awhile now, and it’s always great to catch up !
Good old Rocky had changed ever so slightly with a few new high rise buildings going up on the riverfront but for the most part was exactly the same.
I usually find myself up in Rocky once or twice a year to photograph weddings and I really like the city/country feel and the amazing locations that only this town has to offer.
So back to Suzie & Tom
You know it’s been a great wedding when there’s a meat tray and a frozen chook raffle at the reception – classic ! !
