Tell us how you met

A rainy night in the valley, Greg and i had tagged along with friends who met via internet dating. That night Greg’s charm had me hooked. One week later we had our first date, and not long after that we were inseparable.

The proposal

We took an afternoon walk along the beach at Kingcliffe. We were joking around taking photos. I turned my back for a second and Greg dropped to one knee. I went into as shock, I didn’t hear what he said. Im pretty sure I said ‘what the hell are you doing?’ Followed by a ‘Yes yes yes, I will!’  There wasn’t  a single person in sight, it was just us on the beach. We sat down on the beach for hours chatting about our future together.

Funniest Moment

Our elderly priest had a lapse of judgment and forgot the time of the wedding. After a few nervous phone calls from the groom to the church to remind the priest and the bridal party’s limo taking an improtu tour around inner-west brisbane, we were married, just 30min later than we had originally intended!

Favourite Wedding Day moment

Our vows. Even though we had 120 family and friends at the church, it felt like it was just the two of us in that moment.
