Mirra – Roanna & Matt – We laughed and laughed, and then we laughed some more …

Welcome to our Real Life Weddings page !

This is where the spotlight shines on the amazing weddings that we photograph !

Today the spotlight is on Roanna & Matt’s beautiful Brisbane City Wedding !

What can I say about about Ro and Matt, doing what I do I literally meet thousands of people every year, and we have a lot of friends who started out as clients. When I first met these guys we clicked straight away and I just knew that their wedding day would be something really special. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE all the weddings that I photograph and I love to become a part of the family if only for a day.

We really did laugh all day long, in fact I could have called this post “the many faces of Ro” and I would have loved every image !

In my 12 years of shooting weddings I’ve never had a couple play a song just for me when I was leaving, and not just play the song but stop everyone dancing, grab the mic and thank me for sharing their day. It was a lovely thing to do and I’ll have fond memories of you both whenever I hear Michael Jackson’s ‘Ben’ .

Anyhoo enough yabble and let’s get to the good stuff !

In your experience what did you value most about using Ben Clark Photography ?

He is a bloody legend! He is original, comfortable to work with and a cracker. He has to be credited for getting to know the people he is working with and bringing out what makes them… ‘Them’.

Advice for other brides-to-be

Don’t over think it, enjoy the ride and embrace what you are feeling when you’re feeling it. If things don’t go to plan, its ok…. something even more amazing could happen!
