Summergrove Estate Wedding
Welcome to another real wedding story
Such a gorgeous couple too !
I first met Lou a couple of years ago when she was a Bridesmaid for both Katey & Helen (now Lou’s Bridesmaids)
Saturday was Lou’s turn to be in the spotlight !
—————–
Louise & Matt
Wedding Date: 25th April 2015
Tell us how you met
At The Story Bridge Hotel….actually it was Katey’s (one of my bridesmaids) going away party.
Matt came over to say hi after his friends were kicked out! Ha ha
The proposal
This was a very special day! Matt had organised for both families to fly into Tweed Heads and meet at Lou’s Nanna’s house right on the Tweed River.
Lou spent a lot of time growing up there. This was all unbeknownst to Lou and a logistical nightmare for Matt!
Matt managed to get Lou out of the house for long enough to allow Lou’s sister to set up the proposal arena (flowers, prawns, champagne and small marquee).
This is where Matt proposed in front of their families.

Funniest Moment
As a newlywed couple we drove off on golf buggies for photos….so random
Favourite Wedding Day moment
The breathtaking views at Summergrove Estate that acted as the backdrop for the ceremony and reception.
Special thanks to:
We had so many people that helped make our day possible.
Our parents played a massive role in getting organised (not to mention Lou’s parents who did so much running around for us leading up to the wedding).
Thank you to the bridal party and their partners for their help and support. Thank you to all our friends and family who celebrated with us. And thank you to all our suppliers.
What did you value most about using Ben Clark Photography ?
The man knows how to pin a buttonhole!!!
Seriously though….Ben is much more than a photographer.
His experience and expertise shines through in the way he can assist and where required direct in all aspects of the wedding day!
He is great fun to have around and we highly recommend him to future brides and grooms.
Thank you so much Ben 🙂
Advice for other brides-to-be:
Relax and don’t be scared to delegate. All those people offering to help really do want to help!
