St Margaret’s Ascot Wedding
Leon & Vanessa got hitched !
Today I’m sharing a totally rad couple who decided that they just couldn’t live without each other and so they tied the knot !
Tell us how you met: We met through mutual friends and decided to rent a house together.
A few months down the track and we were more than housemates 😉
The proposal
The proposal was actually unplanned.
Leon had bought the ring but hadn’t figured out yet how to pop the question. One night we were in our new house, had a lovely dinner, some drinks and were listening to music.
We realised it was almost exactly like the night we shared our first kiss. It was then Leon realised it was the perfect opportunity to propose.

What did you value most about using Ben Clark Photography ?
We chose Ben after seeing his beautiful photos online and we couldn’t of been happier.
We wanted to make sure we had someone that could capture all the real moments on our special day.
He is such a wonderful photographer and was also super helpful with other aspects on the day (i.e. helping the boys with their button holes!)
Advice for other brides-to-be:
Try not to stress too much and just enjoy the day. Trust your vendors and listen to their advice…they’ve had plenty of experience.
And take a moment on the night to really appreciate all the love and support of friends and family in the room.
