Today I have Tiahne & Ryan’s beautiful Pelican Waters Wedding to share with you !
Date: 14th November, 2015
Theme if any: Romantic with a hint of Paris
Tell us how you met: High school sweet hearts – we met in Year 8 science class and Ryan picked on me like crazy! But I guess it’s true, boys pick on you when they like you ?
The proposal – We were about half way through our trip to the UK and we were in Paris.
We had wondered around the Eiffel Tower and Ryan insisted that we sit in the dirt, when there were perfectly good seats just near by.
After sitting for about 20mins, I cracked up and went to stand up and go to sit on the seats. I turn around to help Ryan up and there he was. On one knee with a beautiful ring.

Funniest Moment
- Seeing my brother Matt jump 8 feet in the air when a massive thunder clap happened in the middle of the ceremony.
- Doing a handbrake turn in the Fiesta round a round about in Caloundra. Both myself and Ben wet our pants (dress rather).
Favourite Wedding Day moment
Ryan said: Seeing Tiahne walk down the aisle
Tiahne said: Coming round the corner to start my walk down the aisle and I see both of our families altogether. Then I look past them and see Ryan standing there, all teary eyed, waiting for me.
Special thanks to
To all that pitched in and helped moved 40 odd chairs undercover and shifted an entire ceremony site!
And our bridal party – they put up with us through the worst and were still standing by our sides on our best day. We cannot thank them enough.
What did you value most about using Ben Clark Photography?
His ability to let our bridal party be the fruit loops that they are and still get amazing shots.
Advice for other brides-to-be
Everything will fall into place – the weather wreaked havoc for us on the day and it still managed to be the best day of our lives.
Don’t sweat the small stuff
