Tell us how you met

We met at James’ sisters 16th birthday party. I walked into the party and saw James dancing around the pool and thought thought to myself what a cool good looking guy!

The proposal

We went on a hike to the top of a hill in Lake Como in Italy.
James was determined to find the most beautiful spot to propose.

Spent the first week in Aitutaki (Cook Islands) where we got to unwind and relax in absolute paradise.

Funniest Moment:
James tearing his suit pants while trying an impressive move on the dance floor.

Favourite Wedding Day moment:
This is such a hard question!
The entire day absolutely perfect and there are so many wonderful moments to choose from.
One of the greatest moments was getting to see James at the alter.
He looked so handsome and all I wanted to do was give him a big kiss!
I absolutely loved walking out of the church together as husband and wife and  then getting to spend the rest of the day and night celebrating with each other, our beautiful bridal party and our family and friends.
A big highlight for me was getting to see James and his Dad shed a tear for the first time. James and I also loved getting to let our hair down and dance the night away together.

Special thanks to:
Our perfect day would not have been possible without our beautiful families; especially our wonderful parents.
A big thank you to our awesome bridal party; we had so much fun with you!  A massive thank you to my wonderful mother.
I could not have done it without her help. Also to Hayley Sims at Hillstone St Lucia who helped create the perfect reception for us.

What did you value most about using Ben Clark Photography ?

Not only his incredible skill and talent, but his personality.
It was a lot of fun getting to hang out with Ben all day! James and I don’t normally like photos, however, Ben made us feel incredibly comfortable infront of the camera.
Everything felt so natural. Ben captured so many precious memories and a lot of them I didn’t even know the camera was there!
The best thing is that we didn’t feel like we were posing in front of a camera all day.  We are so in love with our photos!

Advice for other brides-to-be ?

Remember that the day is about you getting to marry the love of your life.
Nothing else matters. Just relax and take a moment to take it all in.
Most importantly have fun with each other and your family and friends.
