Welcome to my Real Life Weddings page !
This is where the spotlight shines on some of the amazing weddings that I photograph
Today the spotlight is on Rebecca & Chris and their beautiful Brisbane wedding at Eves on the River
Date: 7th June 2015
Tell us how you met: 9 years ago at university when we were both studying Podiatry
The proposal
Holidaying in Tasmania last June. Chris had told both of our parents that he was intending to propose, but kept chickening out so finally did it on the last day of our holiday at Cataract Gorge in Launceston.
Even after all the years together it was a big surprise!

Funniest Moment
The father of the groom’s speech. I was expecting him to tease Chris a bit, but I seemed to cop it more in Geoff’s speech with a couple of stories from our younger years together!
Favourite Wedding Day moment
Accidentally going to kiss Chris as soon as I walked down the aisle and forgetting we had to wait until the ‘you may now kiss the bride’ part!
Special thanks to
Everyone who helped to celebrate with us and make it such a wonderful, happy and loving time – not just the wedding day but the days before and after that were spent celebrating and seeing family as well!
What did you value most about using Ben Clark Photography ?
It was easy! We told Ben what we wanted and he followed through perfectly and scouted some great locations.
We barely noticed him on the day as he was so efficient and he didn’t make us do any silly wedding poses!
Advice for other brides-to-be
Don’t stress!
We kept waiting for the stressful part of wedding planning to come, but it never did! IT certainly was a busy time organising everything, but if you choose suppliers with great reputations, it lets you sleep easy knowing they are all good at their jobs! Just enjoy the day for what it is, which is basically a big party with everyone you love in the one room who are all very happy for you!
