Last week I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Lucy & Allister’s spectacular country wedding in Melbourne !

These guys are just amazing with what they achieved and pretty much did everything themselves.

The weather ended up being perfect and the location was just magical !

At a party in early December 2007…….

The proposal

On the day of the settlement of the farm (wedding location), Allister proposed at sunset on the property after a lovely dinner (albeit rushed) at a local winery.

Walking the El Camino… 900km walk through the French Pyrenees and Spain. Not for the faint hearted!

Witnessing all those that are so important to us together in the one place celebrating the union of our families….

It was incredibly humbling and touching the great lengths and distances that people travelled to be there.

Advice for other brides-to-be

Relax on the day.

If you are well prepared it will speak for itself… if not, no-one knows what to expect anyway!

Take it all in- it’s the best day of your life.
