Tell us how you met

We met on the 8th of Feb 2014 @ the Mill – I had been on a girls day for Cassie’s Birthday and James had been at his Dad’s birthday – he arrived pretty late to the pub to celebrate Sandra’s birthday and needed to play catch ups with his buddies – so ordered a tray of shots.

I spotted James at the bar and stole a shot from his tray……

The proposal

James got a nice Vintage bottle of bubbles – some yummy cheeses for a platter and we went down to Kangaroo Point – Beautiful Afternoon – he had Jack Johnson playing and then James got down on one knee and popped the question……

Obviously I said YES!!!

Ceremony location: Brisbane City Botanical Gardens – Royal Palm Lawn, Reception location: Blackbird Restaurant, Gown: Mia Solano

Shoes: Pink Paradox – London, Wedding bands : Hearts on Fire

James – White Gold knotted with Titanium, engagement ring: Legassick

Celebrant: Pastor Ross Smith,  Decorator – Alexia @ The Other Bridesmaid,

Make-up: Sarah-Jane @ The Powder Room, Flowers: Olivia Nicolaou for the bouquets and Stem Design for the ceremony flowers

Stationery: Save the Date Magnets were through “Wedding Paper Divas” I designed the Invitations and had them printed through Vistaprint

Cake: Deliberatly Delicious for our Sweet 2 Tier Cake & New Farm Deli for the Cheese Wheel Cake

Funniest Moment

There were a lot of funny moments throughout the day – I do remember doing the loudest burp after finishing a beer at the Mill during photos – I think I even shocked Ben with that one 🙂

Favourite Wedding Day moment: Sammy

The Limo ride with my Dad was a really nice moment and also of course when I saw James at the arbor all my nerves suddenly eased

When I saw Sammy coming around the trees and then getting a proper look at Sammy while she walked down the Aisle
