Tell us how you met
In 2009, one of Tamara’s best friends, Mason Edwards, was killed in an army training accident. Robbie, who served 23 years in the Army, was sent to the family as Mason’s senior officer, for support.
Tamara and Robbie built up a strong friendship over the following years, which then created a strong foundation for their relationship.
Mason had always told Tamara he would help her find ‘the one’ and he didn’t let her down.
The proposal
Whilst holidaying in Spain in 2014, Robbie surprised Tamara by taking her parasailing off the coast of Ibiza. 1000 feet in the air, Robbie proposed with a big plastic ring to which Tamara said ‘Of course!’

What did you value most about using Ben Clark Photography ?
The quality of Ben’s photos and his experience gave us confidence we had made the right choice.
There is no way I would choose someone who is inexperienced or unqualified to capture our memories – you only get one shot to capture the day.
I would be devastated if my photos were damaged or wiped, yet Ben made us feel confident with his back up processes, proving that he knows what he is doing and is a true professional.
The style of Ben’s work is what we love – the stuff you can enlarge on your wall that looks like a piece of artwork – only its you in there! Worth every cent!
Advice for other brides-to-be
Don’t scrimp on your photography, your food, or your entertainment. These are the things you and your guests will remember and the memories that will last forever.
I also recommend having a videographer as its true what they say – it goes so fast – and it will be great to look back on vows, speeches, first dance and other special moments together.
