Jo and Tim are such a lovely couple .. their beautiful ceremony was held at St Andrews in the city with their reception held at the Summit Mt Cootha .

We started our day early with the girls at Venus Secret Hair and Beauty at New farm.

Sophie & Rohan – Young Doctors in Love ….

In todays episode of Young Doctors in Love our stars Sophie & Rohan exchange rings in a beautiful ceremony in the heart of Brisbane.

Sophie & Rohan flew back to Australia from Vancouver Canada to share their wedding day with family and friends..

It’s always nice to see two people so much in love that you just know that they’re soulmates, and this is the feeling I had with Sophie & Rohan.

The Queensland Club was where we started our day and also where the gorgeous reception was held ..

I’ve gone a little overboard with the amount of images that I’ve posted this week only because I felt I had to showcase what was an exceptional day.

I LOVE emotional weddings and these guys had plenty to spare ! I could have posted loads more images but this sneak peek will have to do for now ..

Sophie and Rohan were such a blast to work with (if you can call it work) and there wasn’t a minute that passed where we weren’t laughing !

The Champas started early and never really stopped !

Below Sophies Dad popped in to wish her well – “YAY” – Sophies all time favourite word !

St Mary’s Kangaroo Point we caught up with the Lads ..

What else do you do when at the Gallery of Modern Art then try catch a show !

Although the line was a little long …..

We headed back to the beautiful Queensland Club for the reception.. It was great to see Jaana & Stuart again too ! (pictured below)

I had the pleasure of shooting their wedding in December of last year ..

Rohan’s heartfelt speech didn’t leave a dry eye in the room – the bar was just raised a little bit higher …

Vicki & Clint – 26th June

Vicki & Clint were an absolute ball to hang out with for the day, we sure had a lot of laughs !

I kicked off my day with Clint and his grooms men at the Mantra at South Brisbane. The boys were in high spirits and looking forward to the days events !

After we’d had some fun hanging out around South Brisbane it was time to head over to The River Room at South Brisbane where the fun was just about to start !

Another of my favourite locations in New York was the Flatiron Building, or Fuller Building as it was originally called, is located at 175 Fifth Avenue in the borough of Manhattan, and is considered to be one of the first skyscrapers ever built. Upon completion in 1902 it was one of the tallest buildings in New York City. The building sits on a triangular island block at 23rd Street, Fifth Avenue, and Broadway, anchoring the south (downtown) end of Madison Square.

The neighborhood around the building is called the Flatiron District after its signature building, which has become an icon of New York.

I loved shooting this particular building, the weather was perfect for what I wanted !

One of my Favourites – New York 2010

Earlier this year I spent a couple of weeks in the US and visited New York, such a great place !!

I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding at the Plaza Hotel in NYC which was just amazing ! Here is the link if you’d like to see the wedding

Kit & Margo – 12th June

Kit and Margo’s special day kicked off with the girls who were getting ready in a house in Love Street, so even early in the day the scene was set !

We met up with Kit at the church (BBC Toowong) where friends and family were catching up with each other and awaiting the arrival of the beautiful Bride.

Margo gave her flower girls a beautiful bracelett each which they just loved !

I think it’s an unwritten law that all Dads MUST read the paper before the wedding..

The Queensland & Australian Awards 2010 – The Wash Up ..

Well the wait is over and this years AIPP awards have been and gone !

I scored 4 Silver awards at the Queensland Professional Photography Awards (QPPA)

and 3 Silver awards at the Australian Professional Awards (APPA)

So all in all it’s been a great year and I now have my Associate and am well on the way to getting my masters ..

But none of this would be possible without my wonderful Brides & Grooms !!

So… In order Qld Award prints first .

The four prints below received silver awards

The three images below receieved Silver awards at APPA – max four prints allowed for submission

There were some absolutely beautiful images across all catagories and it’s always a nervous wait when your prints are being judged!

But I love the excitement !

Saturday’s wedding was a beautiful black tie event with family & friends celebrating at the beautiful Hillstone St Lucia .

We started our day with Al and his groomsmen at Newstead before catching up with Liz and the girls at the Sofitel.

Followed by some outdoor fun with myself & Shannon my trusty assistant !

Below Peach’s brother turned up from WA as a surprise ! What a great suprise !!
