Tell us how you met

On a Saturday morning in 2010, Brian went to play soccer at the park. During the game, Brian spotted this girl playing in the same soccer game.
He froze and instantly developed a crush on this girl called Hannah and couldn’t keep his mind on soccer from then on.
They officially met after the game and went from teammates to mates to boy and girlfriend

The proposal

On their anniversary, Brian hired a houseboat at Central Coast and proposed to Hannah that night. Hannah was speechless and nodded yes.

Funniest Moment
We accidentally left the wedding ring in the chapel during our rehearsal the day before our wedding. We only realised it was missing on the morning of the wedding when it was time to take the wedding ring photos.
Fortunately, it didn’t take long before the ring was found. It wasn’t funny at the time but looking back at it, it’s funny how we didn’t even have a clue how close we came to a disastrous start to the big day.

Favourite Wedding Day moment
There are many memorable moments, however, our wedding dance is definitely one of our favourites.
The dance gave us an opportunity to enjoy the moment and activity together as a married couple. It was very special to spend that 3 minutes directly in each other’s presence.

Special thanks to
Kim from InterContinental Sanctuary Cove. Michael and Mervi from Ramada Hope Harbour. Erlinda from White Lace and Promises. Ben, Lisa and Steve from Ben Clark Photography.
Jeffrey, Jack and Eric from In A Maze Films Sydney.
Tammie from Elizabeth De Varga and Balin from Wil Valor who both drove all the way to Gold Coast for our final fitting.
Reverend Peter, Rachel from Porcelain, David from Somerton Limousines, Chandeliers To Die For, Greg from Avideas, MC Bernie and DJ Paul.
Last but definitely not least, all our family and friends who drove from Brisbane to be with us on our special day.

What did you value most about using Ben Clark Photography ?
With Ben you know you are in good hands.
He is one of the most experienced wedding photographers in Australia.
He understands the ‘capturing the moment’ that comes with weddings and he is there to capture those precious moments and emotions.

We also have to thank Ben for an unforgettable moment that happened towards the end of our wedding shoot. Ben took us to a field with tall grass.
When we got there, the sun suddenly appeared over the horizon creating an amazing sunset.
The sunset quickly disappeared but Ben seized the moment and captured that fleeting sunset.
In the end, not only did we get the images with the tall grass, we also got the added bonus of the sunset shining over the tall grass too.
Nothing is guaranteed in how a wedding day is going to be but Ben knows how to adapt and find the best photo in any given situation.

Advice for other brides-to-be
Regardless of how much you plan, you just need to enjoy the day.
There will be surprises and impromptu moments on the day but that’s just the nature of weddings.
