InterContinental Sanctuary Cove – Michelle & Adam

InterContinental Sanctuary Cove wedding

Today I’m super excited to be sharing the gorgeous wedding of Michelle & Adam !

Date:  12-09-2015

Wedding Theme

Parisian/Colonial inspired theme based on my wedding gown and our reception room with it’s ornate Chandelier, Grand Piano, large French windows, Cathedral like ceilings and polished wooden floor

Tell us how you met

The lift at work stopped on Adam’s Office floor – Adam saw Eve (I mean Mich) & Mich saw Adam & the rest is history …

They were also kicked out of the garden of Eden at some point as they were so inseparable that they would take the fall for one another  … So they decided they could never live without one another

The proposal

The proposal of the century on the 14/11/14:

Private Beach Dinner on Boracay Island at sunset. Setting:

Combed beach, white stairs decorated with fairy lights leading to a secluded dinner table on the beach, fine dining 5 course meal prepared by our private chef including a butler with champagne,  ipod shuttle playing love songs.

Adam popped the question by taking me for a walk and leading me to a sand castle that was hidden behind two boards, when I said yes the butlers moved the boards and a sandcastle appeared and it was lit up with uplights to display the words ‘Will you Marry Me’! My fiance down on one knee, tears in our eyes, with an incredible ring in his hand. If I could re-live any moment, it would be this night.  It was the best night of our lives so far and Adam planned it to perfection. Adam is a true romantic!

Funniest Moment

The look on our guests faces when we did our bridal waltz which purposely turned into a mad dog ghetto dance from an all favorite love song …

Favourite Wedding Day moment

The beautiful emotions shared when Adam & I said our vows to one another

Special thanks to

Advice for other brides-to-be

Things will never go exactly according to plan no matter how hard you try perfect and plan things prior to the day, try go with the flow and look to the future and keep the real meaning of marriage in perspective.

Don’t always expect the same back from people as you would have done it for them as you will only disappoint yourself and throw yourself off focus on your special day.
